Eidos confirms more sequels
In the company's 2007 Annual Report, Eidos has confirmed sequels for Just Cause, Battlestations: Midway, Hitman and Tomb Raider are coming up.
We have invested significantly in the pipeline of products for 2008 and beyond and we are looking forward with much anticipation to the sequels to Just Cause and Battlestations: Midway, which are already in development, and new versions of world-leading franchises Tomb Raider and Hitman.
Personally I don't see this as a positive point. What about creating new intellectual property? Is Eidos planning on having its faith rely solely on sequels? I would think that's a bad business model!In other news:
