i just talked to sony yesterday and they said they cant give tell me if something is up until they finally find a final resolution to this problem. I guess what i thought is true. A firmware update will be neede and I am glad its on its way!!!. I heard the problem for the newer p3sz was just the mutiplayer problem which was fixed by the patch. But for me and my older version of ps3 a chip is confilcting the game and the my ps3 with the Hardware problem. Just hope this firmware comes asap andit will work!

my ps3 is a launch version and it has not froze on me once, 67% complete on missions and never used a cheat.

mine is a launch, in canada, and I have the freezing issue. Hopefully they fix this so I can play my $$##%%# game.
