Run your own hotel in Hotel Giant 2
Posted on Monday, 23 June 2008 by raging_P00, source: Fragland
There once was a time when management-sims were hot and had a large share of gamers supporting them. I'm talking about the era in which RollerCoaster Tycoon I (and especially II), Sim City and that one hospital-game which I will never forget, apart from its name, shined.
Today, these formulas no longer exercise the same effect on people, because our current twelve-year-olds either go for skaters, weapons or oversized boobs. There were some games that tried to relive the golden age of management-games (think of Zoo Tycoon), but however enjoyable, they just weren't the real deal.
Another hit from the beginning of the millenium is Hotel Giant and that game is going to get a successor later this year. Enlight Software thought it'd be a great idea to start developing Hotel Giant 2, since the first part has sold over a million copies so far.
What to expect? The same, but more of it and better. Sounds safe and sound! There will be a PC and DS version Q4 2008.

“We have received a lot of positive feedback since the release of the original Hotel Giant. The feedback has been very helpful to us in designing Hotel Giant 2 to meet the fans’ expectations. Hotel Giant 2 has improvements in every aspect of the game and offers a great deal of new content and features. It is a sequel that is well worth waiting for” Declares Trevor Chan – CEO of Enlight Software Ltd.
